Coach

About Me:

Previously, I used to be an avid bodybuilder until I came across the sport of triathlon at my college club fair. As a non-native speaker, I dare say I didn't even know what the word “triathlon” meant, until I attended the team’s first practice and became immediately enchanted by this multisport and dedicated the entire past 6 years to my aerobic performance. Through years of consistent training with proper methods and nutrition, I was able to alter my body composition from a strength/conditioning nerd to an aerobic athlete and obtain my USAT Professional License. My academic background as a Doctor of Physical Therapy has also served myself and other teammates well via injury prevention and rehabilitation. I believe in the virtue of consistency to train and humbleness to learn, and it has been my greatest pleasure to see athletes, after day in and day out of proper training, progress and achieve their goals.
