Breno Melo
Founder & Coach
About Me:
My endurance journey began with my local swim squad in Brazil where I swam competitively for over a decade. After I moved to the US for college, I discovered my passion for running. From 2008 - 2011 I focused solely on running and completed several marathons along with shorter distance races. After my first triathlon in 2011, I quickly moved to the Ironman distance and competed in my first full Ironman in Florida in 2012. After finishing as the 2nd Overall Amateur at 70.3 Pan American Championship in 2016, I earned my professional triathlon license. From 2016 - 2021, Breno raced triathlon professionally and during that time founded Karma Endurance alongside his wife Ali. Throughout this time, I served as Head Coach of the Boston University Triathlon team, helping to develop the university team which ranged from freshman to graduate students.
